This book has helped me remember that when you meet a person, don't be so quick to judge them because you never know where they have come from! I could not stop reading. It was very inspirational and very beneficial read especially for young women. I will definitely recommend to my friends.
Hope is a hard read but much needed. It exposes a side of humanity that you wish didn't exist but know that it does. You follow the author on a journey and you can't help but to release when she makes it to the other side. We live in a world where we're taught to suffer in silence, you never know the story behind a smile or a kind hello. This is a must read! Hotep!
Although this book touched on real life issues, it was too short of a read. The story itself was a good read and it shows how different life can be for others. This book can provide a breakthrough for those who have had that path in life. Nicole is brave for sharing her hardships in life and I am glad that she pulled through. Although the book starts slow it still was a good read.
